A government office fit-out on Bridge Street - crisp suspended ceilings and partitions, acoustic meeting suites and glazed offices, wrapped with culturally-led Māori design elements and a carved pou at its heart.
Inland Revenue's Nelson office sits within the same Bridge Street development, delivered as a calm, bright government workplace. Our scope covered the suspended ceilings, internal partitions, wall linings and acoustic treatments across open-plan floors, meeting rooms and staff amenities.
The interior is grounded in a culturally-led design language - manaia and kōwhaiwhai patterns applied to glazed partitions, timber framing and battens, and a carved pou set against dark acoustic felt. We detailed the linings and glazing to frame those elements cleanly and let the storytelling take centre stage.
